Is Radio VoiceTrack Builder free?
Yes. The application is completely free to download and use.
If you find it useful, you can optionally support development via the donate page (proceeds to charity).
Is Radio VoiceTrack a DAW?
No. There are no track 'editing' tools in the app aside from metadata edits.
What operating systems are supported?
The current version supports Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Mac OS version is in the pipeline, This requires certification from Apple.
Does it require an internet connection?
No. The application works entirely offline once installed.
What audio formats are supported?
MP3 files are fully supported for music, jingles, and voice links.
What does the silence detector do?
The silence detector automatically trims unwanted silence from the beginning and end of tracks at export.
It does not affect the orginal source file in any way.
Can I record voice links directly in the app?
Yes. The built-in voice recorder allows you to record directly into your show without needing external software.
However you may wish to se your favorite recording app such as Audacity and import that instead.
Why does Windows show a warning when installing?
Windows may display a SmartScreen warning because the app is independently developed.
Click 'More info' and then 'Run anyway' to proceed.
Where are my exported files saved?
You choose the export location when saving your final show. The exported file is saved to the folder you select.
Can I edit metadata (tags)?
Yes. The built-in meta tag editor allows you to update track information directly inside the application.
Why does the final export take so long?
A couple of reasons...
1 - The length of your show will impact the time taken to process everything, 2hour show = 30 mins to render.
2 - To get your show 'broadcast ready' without needing any other software requires several long processes.
